Nikes alternate reality game to start in London tomorrow - Nike Grid

Nike Grid, an experiential campaign meets ARG about to be launched in London that is all about running. Street running, infact. The Grid is London, North, South East and West across 40 postcodes, the entirety is your gameboard.
The idea is to run from phone box to phone box, street by street across London to claim the most streets in just 24 hours. For each phone box “check in” you’ll get points, and the more you run the more you get. Nike have also taken more than a little inspiration from FourSquare by issuing “badges” for speed, endurance and stamina over the event, with the whole thing tracked and broadcast through Facebook.

Londons ilovedust have made an eye popping girl-turned-superhero outsmarting an enraged robot video for Nike

Say that three times fast.
Check out this cracking animation, a collaboration between Londons ilovedust and AKQA San Francisco

We worked with AKQA in San Francisco to create an animation as part of a campaign for the new Sister One range from Nike for the South East Asia market. Once we finished the spot we decided to tweak it here and there for our own portfolio and what was once a 45 second piece featuring a girl dancing turned into a 1:20 epic about a girl-turned-superhero outsmarting an enraged robot through the centre of a Tokyo-inspired Metropolis.

Bright and fresh illustration for English Heritage Picnic Concerts, Print and online design by Newcastle's Sumo

Met Sumo's Senior Designer Gavin Downey at the judging for the roses awards on Thursday, nice bloke.

Then this caught my eye on the drum, some great work coming out of sumo.

Visit the English Heritage Picnic concerts website

Sumo has developed a campaign to promote the English Heritage Picnic Concerts, which are being launched today in London.

The English Heritage Picnic Concerts are held in two of England’s most stunning properties Kenwood House and Audley End.

This year the concerts feature artists including Will Young, Jamie Cullum, Diana Krall, Jools Holland and Rufus Wainwright.

The campaign uses "a colourful illustrative design" to depict the relaxed summer atmosphere of the picnic concerts, creating a "warm and inviting" look for the promotional campaign.

Jim Richardson, managing director at Newcastle-based Sumo said: "We were asked to create a striking campaign which will raise awareness of the concert series as one of the must see events of the summer."

C.V. built entirely in google maps - nice idea from London copywriter Ed Hamilton

What a great idea.
On our C.V. we talk about where we studied, where we have worked and what our passions are.
Well those can be plotted on a map right? Passions might be tough, but as meatloaf said 'two out of three aint bad'.

Plus with google maps you can add notes to each place.

London agency 'Studio Output' have a new website, but its their portfolio thats worth looking at

A nice new website, but I am much more interested in some of their work.

The little big planet branding is fantastic, especially considering how clearly it represents the style of the game and how consistently and playfully that game was marketed.

The work for the BBC is interesting too, what a dream project..
We want you to brand each of our DJ's on radio one, then design each of their homepages....mmm

Finally they have been doing some initial education pieces for Sony Playstations motion controller.
These guys are having too much fun, someone give them a dull project and quickly.
