Interesting approach to educating teens about Internet privacy

Smokescreen Game from Six to Start on Vimeo.

Nice execution, this is a subject that so often comes across as naff or patronising.

“Have you heard about the guy who got fired because of an inappropriate Tweet? Or the girl whose house got trashed because she advertised her house party on Facebook while Mum and Dad were away? This is what Smokescreen is about - teaching kids the pitfalls of online security in a fun, natural and intelligent way,’

Beautiful perfume branding and bottle design by Holmes and Marchant

Beautiful classic design by Holmes and Marchant

You should check out their offices in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. There are some pictures on the website.

“Holmes & Marchant has worked on the resurrection of a luxury fragrance range called Grossmith. The brand has a great story, and accordingly, there’s a lovely design story to go with it.

The fragrance was once worn by Queen Victoria and was founded in 1835, before eventually closing around 30 years ago. Simon Brook, a great-great grandson of the founder discovered his heritage when researching his family tree. Simon bought the brand back into family ownership and worked with Holmes & Marchant throughout the relaunch process.”

Post office release classic album cover stamps (strangely no beatles)

How cool are these?

The blur parklife cover is fantastic, I wonder are the stamps actually trimmed with the vinyl sticking out?

Next year the Royal Mail will launch its stamp programme with a set of ten 1st class stamps designed by Studio Dempsey that celebrate classic British album covers.

GPS Navigation by Google Maps - I know apple said some mean things about google voice, but we iphone users didn't mean it

</object>

I hope this becomes available soon for iPhone, £80 for Tom Tom software when I can buy a Tom Tom unit for that price is crazy.

Google Maps Navigation is an internet-connected GPS navigation system with voice guidance. It is part of Google Maps for mobile and is available for phones with Android 2.0.

Google Maps Navigation uses your phone's internet connection to give you the latest maps and business data. But that's not all that's different about Google's approach to GPS navigation. Watch the below video to learn more.
