Bright and fresh illustration for English Heritage Picnic Concerts, Print and online design by Newcastle's Sumo

Met Sumo's Senior Designer Gavin Downey at the judging for the roses awards on Thursday, nice bloke.

Then this caught my eye on the drum, some great work coming out of sumo.

Sumo has developed a campaign to promote the English Heritage Picnic Concerts, which are being launched today in London.



The English Heritage Picnic Concerts are held in two of England’s most stunning properties Kenwood House and Audley End.


This year the concerts feature artists including Will Young, Jamie Cullum, Diana Krall, Jools Holland and Rufus Wainwright.



The campaign uses "a colourful illustrative design" to depict the relaxed summer atmosphere of the picnic concerts, creating a "warm and inviting" look for the promotional campaign.



Jim Richardson, managing director at Newcastle-based Sumo said: "We were asked to create a striking campaign which will raise awareness of the concert series as one of the must see events of the summer."
