Edinburgh is getting trams!

I didnt know about this, excellent!In March 2006, the Scottish Parliament voted to pass the Edinburgh Tram (Line One) and Edinburgh Tram (Line Two) Bills. Trams will offer a new transport choice to the growing population of Edinburgh. Trams are reliable, frequent, easily accessible and are able to carry many passengers, with the additional ability to load and empty quickly. Edinburgh’s tram network will help reduce the need for car journeys. It will ease congestion and provide environmental benefits through improved air quality.
