Scotland Gets Share Of £125M Modern Art Collection

SCOTLAND will share in a £125million private collection of modern art, under a deal forged with art collector Anthony d'Offay. D'Offay, a former student in Edinburgh, gets £26.5million - the original cost of the collection - plus a tax deal. The collection includes works by Damien Hirst and Andy Warhol and the Scottish section will be housed in the National Gallery of Scotland. Found this at The Daily Record
